Roz Sheldon MD at Igniyte discusses Birmingham’s reputation crisis

21 May 2025 · Ryan Rana

Igniyte spoke to Birmingham Live this week about the city’s reputation following recent strike action and the challenges it now faces in rebuilding public trust.

Managing Director Roz Sheldon commented on the long-term impact reputational damage can have—not just for individuals or companies, but for entire cities. Roz also noted that once negative perceptions take hold, it can take years to reverse them, especially if concerns aren’t addressed head-on. “Reputation isn’t just about what’s being said today,” she said, “it’s about how you respond, how you listen, and what actions you take going forward.”
