Travel Agents And Dealing With Negative Reviews

29 July 2013 · Igniyte

Travel Click Holidays (www.travelclickholidays.co.uk) an online travel agency has closed after negative reviews appeared on customer review sites and forums.

The Enfield based company sold package holidays and flights to several destinations, which included Dubai, Las Vegas, Cyprus and Greece.

The company website stated that the business was closed for maintenance. However, a statement from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said: “Travel Click Ltd, trading as www.travelclickholidays.co.uk, has ceased trading with immediate effect.”

Travel click was the subject of numerous complaints on a consumer complaint forum holidaywatchdog.com. Customers were unhappy that they had paid for a holiday but hadn’t received any confirmation.

Customers were apparently poorly treated as rude staff dealt with their complaints. This highlights how important it is for businesses to handle customer complaints well, and realise the importance of online reputation management and online review management in building and maintaining a successful business.
