Igniyte’s research featured in Management Today’s article on reviews online

7 August 2015 · Igniyte

Igniyte’s Business of Reviews research – which found that more than half of UK companies have been affected by online reviews – featured in Management Today’s article on an entrepreneur’s battle with TripAdvisor.

Following the release of a Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) investigation report into online review sites, an entrepreneur – Georgina Nelson – founded Trurating, an application which gathers customer feedback via chip and pin machines.

The idea behind it is that it’ll give consumers a much quicker and easier way to give feedback straight after they’ve experienced the service, gathering a fairer representation of how customers feel about a company.

Nelson created Trurating after becoming frustrated with the seemingly unfair negative representation companies were getting on review sites such as TripAdvisor.

Management Today reported on Nelson’s growing business and how it relates to the recently released CMA report on an investigation into review sites, an investigation that Igniyte contributed to and which cited Igniyte’s Reputation Report statistics.
