Published findings that negative online content can ruin a business

National UK newspaper The Telegraph has published Igniyte’s Business of Reviews research revealing that negative online content and reviews online reviews are costing one in five British businesses more than £30,000 a year.

The detailed article describes how our research finds that most UK business owners – 75% – admit that online reviews are very important to their financial and reputational status. And that 1 in 6 say that unfair negative posts could actually destroy their business completely.

The research also finds that UK companies are spending significant amounts of money trying to deal with malicious posts, with 18% spending up to £30,000 to try and challenge online posts.
